Espreso Putumayo

Nine friends embarked on a self-built boat to explore the Amazon and Putumayo Rivers, connecting with 33 remote communities across four countries. Through art, cinema, education, and shared moments of joy, this expedition became a social project rooted in human connection and the true spirit of adventure.
about the project

Purpose & Impact

This expedition along the Amazon and Putumayo Rivers aimed to connect deeply with the reality of the communities living along their banks. Through our skills and resources, we sought to contribute in meaningful ways—bringing joy and support through workshops, cinema, art activities, clothing, educational materials, toys, first-aid kits, and school supplies for children, teachers, and local families throughout the Amazon.

The True Meaning of Adventure

Nine friends, united by a shared desire to support vulnerable communities through a social project in Latin America, traveled aboard a boat they built themselves. Living on this boat, they journeyed through 33 communities across Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. Along the way, we encountered diverse cultures, places, and tribes. As we traveled, we learned, laughed, and opened our hearts by sharing joy with children—while also living as close as possible to their daily reality. For us, this is the true adventure: inhabiting their territory, camping, sleeping in a vehicle—or on a boat—and fully immersing ourselves in their way of life.
