Empowering La Guajira: Children, Communities, and Clean Water
Since 2009, our efforts have been concentrated in La Guajira, Colombia, one of the regions most profoundly affected by corruption and violence. This dire situation has severely impacted the area’s natural and economic resources.
Addressing Corruption and Scarcity, One Step at a Time
Our core objective is to create meaningful, positive experiences for children. We achieve this through direct collaboration with each community, focusing on building essential infrastructure such as schools and communal kitchens. Our programs are diverse, encompassing recreational activities, educational workshops for both children and adults, engaging circus festivals, and a unique traveling cinema. We also supply critical resources: first aid kits, school supplies, and clothing for children, alongside necessary provisions for teachers. Crucially, in response to severe water scarcity caused by environmental exploitation, we ensure the monthly delivery of 10,000 liters of drinking water to specific communities including Punta la Vela, Atunharain, Urrachikat, Matukat, Lounain, and Sichen.
" Transforming lives, one community at a time. "
All Tribes
Our dedicated team of artists and volunteers embeds itself within each community for approximately one week. This immersive approach fosters a deep understanding of their culture and allows us to accurately assess and respond to their evolving needs.
